Greywolf the Wander ~ Background.

Name:  Greywolf the Wander. Eyes: Blue. Hair: Shaven Grey. Height: 6"7' Age: 45. Body: Strong and Sturdy.

Born:  Cahors, France.

Lives:  Hamm Tun, Mercia/England.

Parents:  Bernard and Bernadette Rousseau. They were both killed when Greywolf was only five years old, there were no other relatives; so he went into the local monastery as an orphan. During his time in the Abbey, Greywolf learned much from his Masters; promising faithfully to give his life to God and his good work... which he did well, until the day his Abbey and those inside were burned alive by a vicious gang of thugs; from that day on he swore revenge.  

Siblings:  None.

Marital Status:  Single, but longing for love. The only one (other than Alexandra) to be by his side all the time is his faithful horse; Bannaventa. Greywolf has loved, and lost many a good woman. None have been able to deal with his roaming nature, none wish to travel with him; his ways have left he love and joy less on many occasions. When Alexandra's parents employed his services he swore to faithfully protect her, his other "job" was to search for a suitable suitor for her; he never planned on breaking this promise. But somehow, some-way; he fell for his charge.

History:  After his Abbey was destroyed, Greywolf the Wander did what his name suggests; and wandered through France looking for revenge and seeking somewhere to call his home. He was 25 when he left the ruins of the Abbey, twenty years after he had gone there to find a safe place to stay.

The only thing he had with him was what his Masters had given him, clothes; a bible and some rosary beads. The only thing he arrived with was a pendant that his Mother had given to him before they had been parted so cruelly, this pendant had seemingly kept him safe. It is said that the pendant was blessed, and who was he to argue that fact; it had brought him to her after all... Angelique, the love of his life. But soon after they had settled down he lost her (and the baby she was carrying) to the Plague. His heart broken once more, Greywolf continued to search for love and a purpose to his life.

Greywolf was living in Mulhouse, East France for sometime when he got their call to travel with and protect her. Alexandra's parents needed someone they could trust and was strong, both knew Greywolf was famous for both; he seemed to be fit for the job. And he was, he came and did his job well; too well for her liking! Not that she would admit it, but she was glad he was there for her; he of course felt the same.

His heart was not meant to be lost to his Mistress, her parents would not approve; they had their own plans for their beautiful daughter. But the fact she was so feisty and strong, appealed to Greywolf. But of course he kept his feelings secret, more than aware he had a "job" to do; which he did well. Even when she talked of finding love, his heart wanted it to be him that she chose; he knew this would be the last thing she could do!
